AddressWe are partnering with a mid sized, allied healthcare organisation with a national presence to recruit a mid level IT Project Manager. This role is perfectly suited to self starter, with the ability to liaise between technical and business functions.
The purpose of the role:
- Manage the project portfolio and enhancement demand requests that involve IT resources or system. This will require close alignment and stakeholder management with Business and IT teams to understand intent and suggest best practices/actions.
- Lead & document the scoping requirements into a project plan for approval. Slot the Projects and Enhancements onto a prioritised IT roadmap plan and provide status reporting.
- Manage and coordinate the IT Support for new clinic integrations.
- Establish an understanding of current and future business states, and make recommendations for improvements that can be implemented and supported by the IT department
- Develop plans to uplift capability across IT Departments, considering standards, procedures and current processes.
- Participate in external Cyber Security audits & reviews, coordinating implementation of ongoing recommendations
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure all Projects and Enhancement requests are documented appropriately, including Analysis, Requirements, Scope, Solution and Budget. Develop an appropriate approval process consistent with the impact, size and cost of the request.
- Work with IT team and Outsourced providers to confirm timing and prioritisation. Be the first escalation point for any project issues.
- Coordinate Project status & prioritisation meetings with Senior Management and update plans and resourcing as needed. Ensure lower priorities are not forgotten or continually de-prioritised.
- In consultation with stakeholders, develop a rolling 12-month IT roadmap for approved and proposed projects & enhancements.
- Develop and maintain the Project & Enhancements plan on a dashboard including tracking and recording of day-to-day project progress with reporting to Senior Management
- Support the Project owner and Business teams for the implementation and roll out of the Project or Enhancement
- Document and maintain system architecture diagrams and key process flows
- Communicate with Stakeholders on Project timings, changes to scope or solution.
- Develop a process in alignment with Business Development to ensure new Clinic integrations are well communicated with for IT changes, are brought up to standards and any defect list is completed & signed off.
- Develop a process to gather ideas and recommendations from the Support and Field teams, present to Senior Management for inclusion as appropriate in the IT Road Map.
- Work with Finance team to ensure IT – Finance processes are maintained, including but not limited to Asset management, Consignment stock and licensing.
- Develop and maintain a list of 3rd Party Apps subscribed and work with Operations Management to ensure service level agreements are being realised.
- 5+ years’ experience working within an IT or Operations team with Project Management exposure.
- Able to take complex requirements or solutions and simplify for broader understanding.
- Good understanding of Microsoft services, including Microsoft Teams, Project Planning, Notes and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, excellent attention to detail and ability to interact with colleagues at all organisational levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, calm under pressure.
