AddressOur client is an established energy and utilities company based in Perth and they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
The Project Manager will be accountable for the overall delivery of projects to agreed criteria, within commercially competitive standards for safety, cost, timeliness, quality, and scope and to the expectations of our customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage detailed project plans to keep projects in scopeand budget.
- Complex projects may include a high level of technological, reputational, safety or commercial risk representing a material impact on end client and its stakeholders.
- Execute all projects according to client’s Project Methodology, Standards, Processes and Governance framework.
- Ensure project financials are managed, maintained, forecasted, and can be reported upon in terms of Capex and Opex.
- Report the status of the assigned projects pro-actively and on an ongoing basis to key stakeholders and Team Leader, and co-ordinate and manage the work of the project team through up-to-date resource plans and project schedules.
- Communicate with project team members regarding project milestones, risks, issues, and status.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and establish effective stakeholder management plans.
- Support and build effective project teams across diverse functions of the enterprise to deliver required project and program outcomes.
- 10 years + IT industry experience with min 4 years of experience managing and delivering projects and solid 5 years of exp in delivering complex programs/projects utilising industry standard project methodology such as PMBOK or Prince 2.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve configuration and functional business issues.
- Industry accreditation in project management, RegPM / PMI
- Ability to build strong working relationships with project stakeholders and Senior leaders through superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong people skills. Build trust and relationships and create a collaborative & consultative style with clients. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with team/colleagues.
- Extensive financial acumen including the ability to interpret financial data and reports. Utilise project knowledge to accurately budget and forecast expenditure and productivity.
- Highly developed negotiation and conflict management skills.
