• $415 per day + Super

An exciting opportunity to work within a sought-after government department, with a competitive rate and contract length with high potential to extend!
Your Role:
As the IT Risk and Assurance Officer your role will undertake a range of research, analysis, reporting, implementation, and administrative Risk and Assurance activities to support the development and delivery of Risk and Assurance management, in line with the organisations established plans and objectives.
Your Skills and Experience:

• You will provide operational support, including monitoring and reporting on IT Operational risk, milestones, and deliverables, to ensure time, and quality indicators are in line with approved action plans.
• You will update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, recommendations, and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed assurance management methodology.
• You will undertake basic research and analysis in assigned areas and contribute to the preparation of Assurance and IT Risk briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
• You will assist the team to complete tasks and implement plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
• You will communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding program status and implementation issues.
• You will assist in administrative services, including coordinating meetings and supporting the tools used in Risk and Assurance management delivery.

Your Desirable Criteria:

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated problem solving, research and data analytical skills and capacity to present information and data in a logical and coherent manner.

• Demonstrated proficiency computing skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Government background/experience desirable.
