How will I help?
An Exciting opportunity is available for an IT Senior Governance Manager to join the Infrastructure and Service Management team in Group Technology. Integrated Product Services (IPS ) Run Practice utilises a customer centric operational model with Infrastructure and Service Management teams to ensure that the technology domains are managed with a focus on risk mitigation through improving lifecycle competencies with a goal to maintain audit readiness through continuous compliance, overlayed with a clear understanding of the contractual obligations, driving up the maturity of our delivery models and driving continual improvement using empirical data.
Guiding and instructing Technology (including Suppliers) and determining solutions to meet delivery needs through the provision of insights, structured reporting and direct engagement with stakeholders, IPS Run Practice assist Technology with ensuring that products are fit for purpose and appropriate for the delivery outcomes required.
Your key responsibilities include:

• Working with Service Domains and Suppliers, advise, instruct and facilitate the cadence for reviewing performance, compliance, obligations and continual improvement and appropriate due diligence is applied to the review.
• Identify potential improvement opportunities across the Infrastructure and Service Management Domains in relation to Supplier engagement and management through analysis and understanding “best in class” practices.
• Work directly with Domain leads, Supplier senior leaders and Commercial teams to ensure there is a clear view and understanding of the performance profile for all Infrastructure Domains, and driving to represent a predictable representation of that performance.
• Influence, guide, and advise Service Owners and Level 3 teams on the nature of their managed technology contracts, ensuring that contracts are structured to help meet business plans and drivers.
• Administer and manage the Supplier Governance practice within Infrastructure & Service Management, ensuring that all data is kept current, Supplier Managers, Commercial and Domains are informed of changes and issues and executive reports are produced as required.
• Produce Executive reporting for Supplier Governance, including presenting the relevant reporting to the Executive team as required.
• Ensure key stakeholders are informed and educated on all aspects of the Governance practice.
• Work with Commercial to ensure that Contractual performance is reconciled to the Contractual management process.
• Take accountability for ensuring the Supplier governance base of Technology is managed at “best-practice” levels.

What do I need?

• Five+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Good understanding of Finance and contract management in IT, including the principles of forecasting and managing a P&L, Contract change, renewal or termination.
• Excellent reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at a Senior and Executive Management level.
• Experience in gathering and defining diverse Business Requirements and performing Gap Analysis.
• Experience in working across technology disciplines.
