IT Service Desk Analyst


Cleared are supporting a major client in Canberra seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst for a permanent engagement within the Defence environment.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about IT support and customer service, looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and support computer/desktop installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by responding to and resolving customer requests or incidents.
  • Deliver 1st Level telephone contact support.
  • Address customer requests related to software, hardware, and network operations, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
  • Handle tickets on a "first in first out" basis, with daily customer follow-ups, and escalate to on-site support if necessary.
Key Knowledge and Experience:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance required.
  • Experience in customer service or IT Service Desk roles.
  • Prior experience providing Level 1 support for MS Office, MS Exchange, and MS Windows networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
