Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School is a high quality, independent, Anglican, Co-educational P-12 school serving the southern Gold Coast, Tweed Coast and northern New South Wales regions. This entry-level full time position plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective use of technology within and outside the classroom environment. No prior technical support experience is required but you do need to possess a proactive mindset, dedication to delivering exceptional customer service, and a commitment to ongoing skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient technical support through various channels including in-person interactions, email, ticketing system and phone calls
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, networking, and printer-related issues in a timely manner
- Set up audiovisual (AV) equipment for presentations and meetings, offering necessary guidance and training to staff when needed
- Log and track support requests, escalating more complex issues to senior technicians
- Maintain knowledge of school systems, procedures and commonly used applications to provide effective support and assistance
- Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks such as installing updates, reimaging machines and ensuring software licenses compliance

- Proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong interest and proficiency in working with computers, software applications and AV equipment
- Patience and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
- This position primarily operates in an office environment but may require occasional travel within the school campuses.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support school events or projects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry AV equipment and other hardware components
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, and keyboard use may be required
