As an IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of IT services to ensure they meet the needs of the organisation and its stakeholders. Working closely with IT teams, business units, and vendors, you will define service levels, establish processes, and monitor performance to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of IT services. This role requires strong leadership skills, IT service management expertise, and the ability to align IT services with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT service management roles, with a track record of successfully delivering and managing IT services in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles, frameworks, and best practices, such as ITIL, and experience applying them to service delivery processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration, alignment, and accountability.
- Experience managing service desk operations, incident management, problem management, change management, and service request management processes.
- Knowledge of IT service management tools and software, such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira Service Management, for managing IT service delivery processes.
- Ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a desire to stay current with emerging trends and best practices in IT service management.
