The Quality & Risk Officer sits within the Quality & Risk Team reporting directly to the Senior Advisor Quality & Risk. This position will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of Meli’s Quality Governance Framework and related quality, risk, and compliance systems.
You will be responsible for supporting Meli to continuously meet or exceed relevant accreditation, regulatory, legislative, and quality standards across a diverse portfolio of client services as well as support staff across the organisation to understand and develop quality systems, with a key focus on compliance, continuous quality improvement, and building internal relationships.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in social science or relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining quality, risk and compliance systems and accreditation processes.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and communicating legislation, including reviewing, and developing policies and procedures.
- Well-developed communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel with the demonstrated ability create reports and visual charts as well as a range of other IT software.
