The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
In your new role, you will be responsible for the smooth and seamless execution of IT service management operational processes while maintaining the overall stability and resilience of the organisation’s Technology services.

- Configuration Management
The IT Service Operations Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery and management of IT services. Additionally, the manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service control processes. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and mitigate risks.
Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership and people management skills, with over 7 years of proven experience in ITSM process management. They will possess in-depth knowledge of IT service management frameworks like ITIL, a strong understanding of service control principles, IT operations, infrastructure, and application environments, and experience in change and release management processes.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- ITIL certification (Foundation or higher).
- Strong leadership skills and people management experience.
- Proven experience (7+ years) across ITIL processes
- In-depth knowledge and experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
- Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and application environments.
- Experience in change and release management processes, including change assessment, CAB coordination, and release planning.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in information technology operations management using ITIL with knowledge of the full IT lifecycle.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in engaging and managing service providers with proven ability to drive supplier performance and compliance to service level agreements.
- Strong knowledge of risk and control operational environment to support service roll out and BAU support post go live.
- Experience and applied knowledge in IT standards and methodologies; able to design and implement support models and SLAs in service level management.
