If you are a highly engaged people leader with a passion for technology and change and have extensive Infrastructure and operational\service desk management experience, this is the chance to secure an IT leadership role with a dynamic member owned bank.
Reporting to the Head of Technology and working together with the IT Leadership team, the overall responsibility of this role will be the operational management of a range of IT teams across several functional areas including service desk; operations; work\project tracking and delivery; infrastructure maintenance and upgrades; incident\problem\change responses; and Disaster Recovery and BCP.
With a broad remit, we will require a multifaceted experienced IT Manager with exposure across infrastructure, operations, service desk, cloud deployments, networking and security. Utilising highly effective and adaptive leadership and g skills, together with experience in managing people working across a hybrid working model and multiple IMB locations, we will also be looking for the successful person to have:
The drive, resilience and commitment to deliver on a broad IT agenda
An IT or business degree or equivalent experience with competent commercial and business acumen skills to formulate robust proposals, business cases, budgets and carry out contract and license reviews
A high level of organisational and planning skills to work through project plans, work schedules and meet deadlines and service levels
Strong Hardware/Software/Network troubleshooting, incident and problem management skills, with a hands-on approach to the day-to-day challenges of the business
A collaborative approach with excellent communication and people skills, able to work with various teams and stakeholders, both technical and non technical
An understanding of Technology risk and compliance with an appreciation of working within a regulated banking and financial services sector
Previous exposure to working in a 24x7 and preferably in a retail or customer service or financial services environment
Experience in ITIL and the application of ITIL frameworks.
