About the role
Working as part of a small team and reporting directly to IT Services Manager, The Support Analyst will act as the routine contact point responding to a broad range of service requests for IT support and administration by providing information to fulfil requests or enable resolution.
This will involve:
- IT Service desk function – desktop support, user account administration, user support, liaising with suppliers and creating/ maintaining technical related documentation.
- Security Administration & GRC – Investigating minor security breaches, assisting users in defining their access rights, maintaining agreed security records and documentation.
- Assisting with applications support and network support
About the ideal candidate
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in end user service & support
- ITIL Foundation level certified or sound understanding and experience of ITSM practices.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences to establish requirements and ensure that these requirements are satisfied.
- Experience with ensuring service is provided to customers during critical periods.
- A history of looking for ways to add value beyond customers immediate requests
