YOUR NEW ROLE
 
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our Subiaco office, with parking on-site
In this role, you will:
  • Manage, configure and troubleshoot a range of IT related systems such as laptops, tablets, mobile phones, servers, security systems and VoIP phone systems.
  • Provide onsite and remote support & troubleshooting to team members.
  • Application and hardware configuration, deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Hardware and software asset management.
  • Setting up accounts and onboarding new team members.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
  • Management of support tickets via an online system, including comprehensive note taking, prompt issue responses, and owning issues to closure.
  • Effectively identify and escalate complex technical issues to the IT Manager or Network Engineer for resolution (Level 3 tickets)
 
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US?  
  • Minimum of two years of helpdesk experience required
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field or equivalent, or active enrolment in such a program is preferred.
  • Experience in M365 administration and strong knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive for Business is essential.
  • Good knowledge of network systems is required and Experience with Cisco Meraki is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information as necessary to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills in the everyday environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and “assume positive intent” philosophy.
  • Ability to assist remote users to explain and resolve issues using remote control technologies, and via explanations of the steps end users need to take to resolve and/or prevent issues.
