We are passionate about providing high-quality care and support services to vulnerable members of our community, and we are currently seeking a motivated IT Support Officer to join our team in the aged care and NDIS industry.
We are looking for an IT Support Officer who will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with the maintenance and management of IT systems. The IT Support Officer is a key point of contact for resolving IT-related problems and ensuring the technology environment is operational.

About The Position:
As an IT Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance
- Respond promptly to service issues and user requests, providing effective system and technical solutions
- Collaborate with external vendors to expedite issue resolution covered under service agreements
- Provide technical and system functional support across the group, addressing user concerns in person or over the phone
- Set up user accounts for new employees and contractors
- Repair or replace equipment as required, ensuring a reliable and efficient computing environment
- Test and evaluate new technology to improve existing infrastructure
- Assist with the setup and coordination of onboarding and offboarding processes for employees ensuring a smooth transition of IT resources
- Help migrate user data if required
- Provide system administration responsibilities for all of the systems within the group
- Manage End Point and peripheral inventory and ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained
- Be involved in internal and external IT audits and system testing
- Assist with and/or manage ad hoc IS projects/initiatives
Requirements:
In order to establish your career within this position, you will require the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 1/2 IT support role within an enterprise environment, preferably in the Aged Care industry
- Ability to comply with and awareness of work health and safety (WHS)
- The right to work unrestricted in Australia (evidence will be required)
- A current National Police Records check, dated no later than 3 months from application (or willing to apply for one)
- Working with Children Check (or willing to apply for one)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to apply for one)
- Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
