About The Role
Join our dynamic IT team to provide innovative, high-quality support across multiple locations and technologies.
Working in the Information Technology Department, the Technology Support Officer provides innovative high quality support aligned with user needs and goals across multiple locations and technologies. As a first point of contact for user support the Technology Support Officer aims to resolve enquiries on first contact as well as triaging and escalating more complex enquiries.
This position works in the Information Technology Department under the general direction of the Technology Support Supervisor. The IT Department is a diverse group providing strategic IT, records management, project management, business analysis, Technology Support, application development, mobility, audio visual, telecommunications and network and server infrastructure services.
Selected Duties:
- Provide consistent and reliable first level support for the IT Department.
- Deliver high Level customer service and specialist IT troubleshooting.
- Maintain hardware and software operating environments to ensure stable and consistent access for all users.
- Create and maintain support documentation and technical information to promote self-service opportunities.
About You
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline and relevant experience, or lesser qualifications with substantial experience and broad knowledge in an IT discipline.
- Experience providing service desk operations in a Windows based environment
- Desirable Knowledge or qualification in IT service management practices (e.g. Information Technology Infrastructure Library – ITIL).
- Desirable Experience with Microsoft Intune.
