About the role:
- Full Time 12 month contract
- Located in Eastwood with onsite undercover parking
- Assist our sites to operate smoothly by providing specialist IT support
The IT Support Officer role provides the first point of contact for all IT Support requests and issues (Level 1 & 2 support). Responsibilities include providing general IT support, problem resolution, triaging of support requests, responding to customers in a timely manner and providing IT advise to all Eldercare staff.
You will utilise your outstanding customer service skills, you will provide a high level of knowledge, support and advice to all desktop and network ICT users across the organisation.
You will support the maintenance, updating and implementation of IT equipment, hardware, software and relevant registers, telephone and security door systems. To ensure an environment of continuous improvement, you will actively contribute to, develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
The role will require being part of an on-call roster providing after-hours support.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Tertiary qualification (or working towards) in Business Information, Computer Science or a related field and / or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
- Previous experience in a similar IT Role with more than 12 months experience
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills, both hardware and software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Experience in delivering strong and responsive customer service in IT
- Willingness to travel to our sites as required
