The Role:
An exciting opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and confident individual to join our Doncaster Office in the position of IT Support Officer. In this diverse role, you will work as part of a team to provide IT support to our Victorian offices, as well as remote support to other areas of the group. This includes liaising with a range of business stakeholders and clients to resolve and troubleshoot IT desktop hardware and software fixes and installations.
To be successful in this position, you will have excellent customer service, communication and relationship building skills and will enjoy problem solving and working with technology. A qualification or experience in IT will be viewed as advantageous, however is not essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide over the phone & face to face support to clients
- Set up systems & resolve issues
- Install & configure computer hardware operating systems / applications
- Monitor computer systems & networks
- Talk clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the phone, to set up systems & resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system & network problems
- Establish good working relationship with clients & other professionals, including software developers
- Diagnose & solve hardware & software faults
- Replace parts as required
- Follow diagrams & written instructions to repair faults & set up systems
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Set up new user accounts & profiles
- Prioritise & manage a number of open cases at any one time
- Establish good working relationship with clients & other professionals, including software developers
- Work closely with our head office IT team in Melbourne
- Test & evaluate new technology

- Experience with VMWare - Desirable
