Job Description:
The Belouis Group is seeking a full time IT Support Officer. Our ideal candidate will operate independently and come up with solutions to the problems faced by our end users. A pro-active attitude towards designing and implementing improvement to the current infrastructure, security measures and application landscape will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities:
The Role
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
- Sporadic afterhours support may be required.
- You will report directly to the IT Manager
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- A proven ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helpdesk support
- Onsite support
- General IT support
- Phone support.
- Setup, configuration, onboarding and offboarding staff members
- Setup and configure printers, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Mapping out endpoints (location, switch ports, Static IPs, etc.)
- Create and maintain best practice documentation, knowledge bases, SOPs, and manuals for end users.
- Assist IT Manager with implementation of industry standard cyber security measures.
Required:
- Proven ability to problem-solve and diagnose.
- Experience with Windows
- Excellent phone / verbal manner
- Multi-tasking ability
- Be able to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
Highly beneficial:
- Experience with MS Entra, Intune, or willingness to learn.
- Experience with RMM software (e.g. NinjaRMM) and scripting in PowerShell, or willingness to learn.
- Experience with WordPress / Elementor, or willingness to learn.
- Experience with enterprise editions of password managers, EDRs, Network storage solutions, Identity management, or willingness to learn.
