We’re looking for a self motivated all-rounder who has intermediary knowledge across a variety of IT environments and wants to challenge themselves to further their career and capability. As the sole IT officer, you will have responsibility for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our IT systems and work closely with the Operations team to implement improvements across the network. You will be supported with external consultancy assistance where required.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will work alongside the corporate team in our recently upgraded West Perth office, complete with end of trip facilities. We provide flexible working hours to acknowledge the varied opening hours of our clinics and the understanding that some tasks are best completed outside of operating hours.
Key duties:
- Provide a single point of contact for all A&M staff support requests.
- Maintain Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, MS Exchange, VoIP and Intune environments.
- Manage VMware and Veeam solutions.
- Develop, update and ensure adherence to all IT procedures and policies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to supplier or partner organisations as required, following to resolution and ensuring our staff are kept informed of progress.
- Administer, deploy and maintain all end-user IT devices.
- Manage IT asset register, software licensing and endpoint compliance.
- Administer Active Directory Users and Computers, security groups, User account creation/modification/removal in co-operation with HR.
- Provide support for managed printer solutions, as well as general AV/Video Conferencing troubleshooting and support.
- Commissioning/maintaining/decommissioning on-site infrastructure and network equipment, racking, provisioning services, patching fibre/ethernet.
- Maintain site server infrastructure through regular software updates and backup monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting.
- Support and maintain systems to ensure compliance with A&M cyber security controls and standards.
- Provide assistance with maintaining security card or alarm access for clinics.
- Provide technical assistance to internal project teams, supporting the roll-out of new solutions.
- Manage incidents to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure business continuity, being aware and actively monitoring systems or clinics that are offline.
- Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within A&M, actively seeking out improvements, new ideas or solutions for issues that may arise.
- Manage IT project lifecycle from planning to implementation.

Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Office 365, Azure AD, Active Directory and MS Exchange.
- Experience and understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, VLAN configuration and WiFi.
- Experience in network security, securing Windows environments and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices and managing software solutions.
- Experience in Server Virtualisation including VMware and AHV.
- Experience liaising with ISP’s to rectify issues with managed routers and related services.
- Experience with Windows Desktop and Windows Server operating systems.
- Experience with VoIP systems.
- Experience with advanced utilisation of MS Teams.
- Experience with DocuSign administration.
- Strong customer service mindset and willingness to help our team perform.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
Advantageous:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Bachelor’s degree or Certificate IV
- Certifications in MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, or other relevant vendor certification.
