Join our vibrant IT team as an On-Site IT Support Technician!
We are seeking for an highly motivated IT Support Technician to fill our newly created role. This role will be a central point of contact for providing comprehensive IT support across our multiple sites. You'll report directly to the Group IT Manager and play a crucial role in our continuous improvement cycle.
What you'll do:
- Be the first point of contact for any IT-related inquiries, incidents, and requests across all locations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain critical production systems like our ERP system, equipment, computers, laptops, scanners, and label printers.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to solve application and hardware issues.
- Manage equipment registers for accurate record-keeping.
- Provide exceptional technical support to onsite and remote staff via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
- Conduct regular physical checks of hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality.
- Champion excellent internal customer service and prioritise user satisfaction.
- Effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve IT challenges, including non-standard equipment.
- Support industrial equipment software requirements.
We're looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Help Desk/Desktop.
- A passion for technology and problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of various operating systems (Windows/Linux), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Microsoft), and mobile device platforms.
- Solid grasp of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Proven experience supporting industrial equipment software.
- Sharp analytical and administrative skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with a talent for clear explanations and data analysis.
- A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to emerging technologies.
- SQL and data warehousing knowledge (desired).
- In-depth understanding of network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
