The IT Support Technician is responsible for the day-to-day IT support of end-users and focuses to continuously work towards an improved end-user satisfaction, leveraging Red Bull’s IT service management processes as well as Red Bull’s overall IT guidelines. The person maintains an up-to-date and secure inventory of end-user’s devices and Red Bull Australia’s office IT equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures professional end-user IT onboarding (leveraging and contributing global standards).
- Organizes/provides day-to-day IT support by diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Administer, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT systems.
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and updates in coordination with the IT Manager and Regional IT team.
- Ensures an up-to-date and accurate IT asset inventory within Red Bull standards/tools.
- Coordinates end-user device roll out as well as device replacement cycles for client computing hardware incl. peripherals (e.g. screens, head-sets) and mobile devices.
- Coordinates the RMA process for client computing and/or backend-hardware components.
- Organizes needed IT facilities and Red Bull IT standards for State offices.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Customer focused approach.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Passionate about technology
