AddressAn opportunity exists for a proactive individual who would like to grow with an emerging Internet Services and IT Services Provider. This position will suit someone starting in the IT industry and must hold a current Drivers license with a car to visits customers as needed.
Requirements
• Proven experience as IT Technician or understanding of Hardware, networking, Windows Server and Microsoft hosted products.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication ability and professionalism
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners and help train customers to use
• Monitoring and maintaining customer computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Provide technical support to our existing customer base
• Organize and schedule customer upgrades and maintenance
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
• Maintain records /logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
• Maintain IT hardware and software license register of customers
