HEAD CHEF WANTED // BUSY ITALIAN CAFÉ RESTAURANT PIZZERIA ZETLAND 2017
Local gem café/restaurant in suburban Zetland is seeking a HEAD CHEF to come in and run kitchen operations.
The venue is a northern facing refurbished warehouse premises with alfresco outdoor dining open 6 days a week. We offer dinner Tuesday - Sunday & Brunch Friday - Sunday.
We are a long standing venue, looking for an enthusiastic HEAD CHEF with a passion for good food and fresh produce, trained in authentic Italian, to be continually rotating the menus with seasonal specials. We offer a great work environment with a fantastic team.
The role requires experience in the following areas:
- Australian Breakfast
- Italian Cuisine
- Fresh pasta
- Stock control
- Menu development
- Seasonal produce
- Rostering
- Staff management & training
- Kitchen admin & financials
Additionally to this you are required to be
- Excellent communicator
- Lead by example
- Team Player
- Hygienic
- Food Safety Supervisor
- English adequate
2 years experience in Australia is essential in a similar role.
The role is full time
You will have the ability to roster as you see fit to manage all operations.
