Itc Education Officer

About the role:The Education Officer is integral in helping young people in the Intensive Therapeutic Transitional Care program (ITTC) to access and/or remain in education. Using a diverse range of strategies and education options that will cater for the varied learning styles of individuals, and in conjunction with providing support and guidance throughout each young person’s educational journey, the Education Officer will assist clients to achieve better quality education outcomes, assessing and recording these at regular intervals with the ultimate aim of success in their current educational setting or reintegration into an appropriate educational or vocational setting. DCJ is implementing a new ITC system to support children and young people with high and complex needs who are either unable to be supported in foster care or require specialised and intensive supports to maintain stability in their care arrangements.
