YOUR ROLE
Our Customer Communications Platforms team is looking for an experienced Iteration Manager and you could be it!
In this newly creasted role as an Iteration Manager you will deliver value to stakeholders and be responsible for fostering the agile processes within the team. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional business outcomes through technology delivered change, with a responsibility for uplifting of the agile delivery capability team and platform management of strategic inherited systems..
Some of the key responsibilities of this role will be: -
- Enable teams to activate end to end experiences for customers, colleagues and partners.
- Bring thought leadership to support the planning and execution of Technology’s strategic priorities, contemporary operating model and business plan.
- Coach a team on agile ways of working, fostering continuous improvement to grow agile maturity, resilience, and high performance.
- Facilitate the identification and management of interdependencies across teams within a project and across different projects.
- Work with project &/or program management to facilitate and provide estimates and resource requirements to aid forward planning.
- Lead the delivery of platform uplift & modernisation initiatives and create initiative roadmaps in collaboration with the team.
- Support the development and execution of the platform strategy ensuring alignment to the enterprise strategy and technical roadmaps.
- Proactively manage demand and capacity with key stakeholders to deliver on prioritised and approved demand, whilst reducing key person dependencies
- Support the Platform to ensure high availability and reliability of the platform as per the agreed service levels.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for the right person, with a good attitude who will be a solid team fit with the following skills and experiences: -
- Minimum 2 years practical hands-on experience as Iteration Manager (or Scrum Master)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Continuous improvement & product ownership mindset
- Leadership and negotiation skills
- Technical Business Analysis skills essential
- Willing to learn and pick up managing and delivering product improvement.
- Able to coach / mentor agile team members.
- System Thinking
- Previous experience with cross functional teams
- Previous experience working with engineers and/or developers.
This is a full time, permanent role that is open to people based in Melbourne.
This role offers flexible working conditions that support a mix of working from home with a minimum of two days in the office.
