The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for an ITSM Specialist - Change Enablement & Release Manager to join our technology team in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide on permanent full time Basis.
Reporting to Service Operations Manager this role is responsible for the transition of projects/change into live production service or a shared environment via governance compliance reviews. Supporting the IT Service Transition Manager, the role holder will be responsible for managing both project related and operational changes and subsequent releases that will affect or have the potential to affect live services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and review all IT and OT changes daily and drive process hygiene and compliance.
- Support the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process.
- Manage the day-to-day change activities within the Group, ensuring the Change process operates effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders, internal and external.
- Work with service delivery managers and stakeholders within the group to ensure changes are recorded and evaluated, and that authorised changes are planned, prioritised, tested, implemented, documented, and reviewed in a controlled manner
- Assist in the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a similar role in a complex IT environment.
- ServiceNow: hands on experience from a Process Owner role
- Capability to develop ServiceNow reports/ dashboards.
- Experience working with ServiceNow/ ServiceNow partners on system enhancements and bug fixes.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and key stakeholders.
