Java / API Engineers

Each year we deliver over $2B of projects, train over 10000 people, and help some of Australia’s leading brands improve their PMOs.

We are working with one of Australia’s Big 4 Banks embarking on a major tech simplification program of work. A major part of this is a once in a generation “retirement” of their core banking platform and redevelopment of multiple applications sitting on this platform. As part of this project, we are building a Team of highly skilled API / Full Stack Developers.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java 11
• Understanding of RESTful API Principals and best practices
• Knowledge of web Development frameworks such as Spring boot
• Experience with version control systems i.e. Git/Bitbucket
• Familiarity with code quality and static code analysis and tools like sonar
• Experience with distribhuted streaming platforms such as Kafka
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development
• Prior experience in Agile methodology
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Experience in environments with multiple integration systems

Highly Desirable:

• Previous Experience with WDP/Mesh
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks / libraries such as React / Redux
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JQuery and NodeJS
