Opportunity
Part of the Maintenance Improvement team the Job Scoping Technician is a newly created position required to develop detailed work method scopes to ensure corrective work is adequately captured and enables safe and effective execution of maintenance activities in a large, fixed plant process mining environment.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Review daily notifications and prioritise identified work requiring further detailed scoping.
  • Develop work methods in accordance with the notification minimum standard.
  • Develop preventative maintenance instructions in conjunction with site execution teams.
  • Identify & submit master data updates.
  • Review and update existing standard task procedures via CDC.

About You
Essential selection criteria you will bring to this role include:
  • Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience as a maintainer/planner in a large, fixed plant environment.
  • Computer skills and exposure to CMMS (SAP preferred).
  • Current "C" class manual drivers' licence.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the statutory regulations relevant to safety and the environment for the mining industry.
Complementary skills and attributes will be your competency in being able to quickly assess information to diagnose problems and identify opportunities, together with a track record of strong professional judgement and critical thinking.
The ability to effectively prioritise maintenance activities, with strong interpersonal relationship and problem solving skills, confident in communicating and engaging across multiple levels within the organisation and able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined, diverse team will be essential for your success in this role.
