We are recruiting for a Jobs Advisorwho works in the Workforce Australia Services (WAS) Program, providing support and coaching to help people obtain sustainable employment. This role is part time (24 hours per week), based in our Wauchope office and involves a mix of career coaching, empowerment, and even some tactful tough love when it’s needed. Bilingual persons are encouraged to apply as caseload will include customers from Culturally Diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

At ETC, we have found that people from the following backgrounds have the best transferrable skills for these roles:

• Retail
• Contact Centre operations
• Hospitality
• Customer service
• Administration backgrounds

No experience is required for this role, however there are some things that are required:

• Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy
• Strong administration skills
• A recent, clear National Police Check
• A current Working with Children Check / QLD Blue Card
• Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel between different ETC sites

Desirable:

• Certificate IV in Employment Services or willing to obtain.
