In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing support to a person with epilepsy, complex behavior, ADHD, and ASD.

Position:Disability Support Worker

Location: Beaudesert

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized support to individuals with epilepsy, complex behavior, ADHD, and ASD.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and hygiene.
• Implement behavior support plans and strategies to address complex behaviors.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for the individual.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker is preferred.
• Understanding and experience in supporting individuals with epilepsy, complex behavior, ADHD, and ASD.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Any proof of Valid Rights (AU Passport, AU Birth Certificate, AU Citizenship, VISA or VEVO Check)
• Driver's License
• NDIS Screening Check (Paid)
• with Children's check or QLD Blue card (Paid)
• Covid x 2
• Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or Paid Experience.
• Updated First aid and CPR Certificates

Salary and Benefits:

• The pay rate starts at $34.00 per hour.
