Junior Accountant - 1St Move From Public Practice

An excellent opportunity has arisen to move from public practice accounting into well established and successful business situated on the south side of Brisbane. Working with a high quality Financial Controller this role will offer training and mentoring for you to develop your skills.

Your duties will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month end processing including journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Credit card management and petty cash
• Processing a small payroll
• Reconciliation of overseas suppliers
• Ad hoc accounting to support the Financial Controller
• Use of MYOB Advanced
• Assisting with process improvement and automation projects

Your experience:

• 2+ years experience in a reputable accounting firm
• Qualified or working towards CA/CPA
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to provide support to various stakeholders across the business
• Keen to learn and develop
