A Junior Accountant:
- Ensures the integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary systems
- Ensures preparation of timely and accurate financial reports
What your day can look like:
- Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
- Account for balance sheet items as part of the month end process
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Record intercompany transactions
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Other duties as described by the Manager
What you can bring to us:
- Recently completed Bachelor of Business / Commerce, majoring in accounting
- A positive, self-motivated attitude
- Good verbal and written communication
- A pleasant and presentable manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Suite experience
- Strong attention to details and problem solving
- Technically proficient in accounting principles and practices
- Eager and willing attitude to learn new skills and processes
- Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
