Wagners have a career opportunity for a motivated career minded team player to join our Finance Team as a Junior Accountant. Located in Toowoomba this role will assist with monthly accounting and reporting duties.
Duties
- Maintain fixed asset work in progress reconciliation and fixed asset registers
- Provide support with preparation of month-end and year-end processes
- Provide support with budget preparation, monthly forecasts and financial statements
- Review of general ledger reconciliations
- Provide reports and ad hoc analysis for management
- Participate in procedure documentation and maintenance
- Various project and system tasks as required
Skills and Experience
- Accounting degree or other relevant degree
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
- Understanding of accounting standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail
