We are seeking a motivated & mature individual to join our Accounts team as a Junior Accounts Officer!

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the accounts function ensuring correct processes are followed. You will be working closely with the rest of the team to ensure the efficient running of Procare's Accounts division.
Day to day duties in your new role:
- Filing and maintaining supplier records;
- Coordinating online or phone payments as required;
- Generating and sending remittance advice;
- Preparing cheques for payment;
- Invoicing support including, entering invoices into the accounts payable system, checking and verifying invoices, and payment follow up by liaising with relevant parties and recording contact made;
- Making relevant queries on invoices or accounts with internal and external parties;
- Other ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Demonstrated accounts experience desirable (but not essential);
- Experience working within a corporate environment essential;
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- An ability to accept and drive accountability for yourself;
- Confident in using Microsoft Office programs, specifically MS Excel.
- Experience with Xero and MYOB desirable.
- Experience working for a large organisation would be a plus.
