We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper for a full-time position based in our Bayswater office. In this role, you will be integral in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements, as well as handling various small administrative tasks. This position requires working onsite at our office, providing an opportunity to collaborate closely with our finance team and other departments. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are key qualifications for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing ledgers and ensuring accuracy in financial documents.
- Uploading Revenue into accounting system and reconcile with the sales files.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct invoice processing and tracking of accounts receivable/payable.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Support monthly and quarterly audits and cleanups.
- Respond to accounting inquiries from internal and external parties.
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounting system and operations.
- Handle small office administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, Filing, cash deposit at bank, managing mail, and coordinating schedules.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically XERO, is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
