Working closely with the General Manager Sales and Marketing, this newly created position will assist with the oversight and execution of our client's key commodity trading books. You will service a range of customers to ensure sustainable relationships between both parties and be a key commercial contributor to our client's business success.You will also provide ongoing internal analysis of domestic and global supply and demand to contribute to the business sales and trading strategy, and support management with reporting and managing risks. You will identify opportunities for better efficiencies across the supply chain and work closely with a number of internal and external stakeholders to assist with executing on supply contracts.The Person
The ideal candidate will be looking to develop/start their career in a commodity sales environment, with an opportunity to work with a broad sector of the Australian Agribusiness market. You will have relevant qualifications, and ideally have previous experience in a commodity trading house or commercial agribusiness.You will be extremely driven and focused on achieving results, whilst being a strong team person. You will be able to lead from the front and be willing and capable of communicating effectively at all levels within the industry. Experience working within the grains, oilseeds or similar bulk commodities would be advantageous with the key element being a drive to achieve commercial success.An excellent remuneration package will be negotiated to attract candidates of the highest calibre.
