About the Role
The Permanent Data & Analytics Specialist is part of a dynamic team within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Department and is responsible for continuously improving the monthly reporting collection of data from operations and external bodies, including management and transformation of data to provide insight and reporting.
Functional Accountabilities include:
- Developing and supporting the portfolio of HSW Reporting continuous improvement initiatives;
- Undertaking analysis of relevant data and information to inform development of HSW Reporting Standard requirements including developing, monitoring and updating a HSW Performance Reporting Framework and associated metrics;
- Contributing to the reviews of regional/district and organisational level HSW data for reporting to leadership and stakeholders and works with others to enhance data quality and assurance processes;
- Providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, as required to motivate shifts in performance or inform future strategic direction.
What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management Systems, Health infomatics or Social Science, Health and Safety Management, Risk Management, Engineering or a related field;
- Practiced in health, Safety and Wellbeing fields, with demonstrated experience, evidenced through having successfully held an equivalent position or demonstrated experience and successful project outcomes in an alternative position;
- Knowledge of HSW data analysis techniques, interpretation and associated reporting practices;
- Experience in data analysis, interpretation and reporting, including design and deployment of associated processes and systems.

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
