They are seeking a Junior Data/Business Analyst who will work closely with the systems and commercial teams. If you are looking to join an established business and grow within your role, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.
The Role/Key Responsibilities
- Data analysis: Utilise tools and visualisation techniques to identify trends, patterns and insights from data
- Reporting: Create clear and concise reports and communicate findings to various stakeholders
- Data Interpretation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and provide recommendations for decision-making
- Problem Solving: Work with various stakeholders and teams to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to data-related challenges and drive actionable outcomes
- Continuous Learning: Actively engaging in continuous improvement and development of your skill sets and knowledge base
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT or similar
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Fluent with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
- Ability to clean, transform and prepare large data sets for analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (eg Power BI, Tableau etc)
- Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively
- Eagerness to learn and improve skill set
- Supporting the partnerships team with monitoring client budgets and meeting client-facing reporting requirements
- Helping the business development team determine the opportunities for growth through new business
- Assisting the senior analyst with the monitoring of the business’s commercial performance and ensuring our websites are functioning optimally
- Recurring administrative tasks to assist the data, systems, finance and product teams
- Analysing trends across our websites to help drive marketing activity
