In line with our ongoing commitment to delivering service excellence, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sales Estimator to join our team.
Reporting to our Sales Estimating Manager, you would be an integral member of our operations department.
About the Role
As a Junior Estimator, you will effectively assist the Sales Estimating team and the overall business with Estimating administration tasks while learning Coral Homes processes and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the Sales Estimating team with quote ordering and scheduling.
- Obtain quotes and prices for variations
- Prepare tender documentation including all supportive documents and preliminary items
- Maintain quality checks of all documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Effectively and accurately review documentation for variations
- Manage client and staff enquiries
- Estimating administrative duties
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Some experience with a residential builder is desired
- Strong interpersonal and communicational skills
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Solid problem solving skills, strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Trade or tertiary qualification in a construction related discipline is highly desired
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly analytical with a strong ability to problem-solve
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
