About the Role
Our Estimators love the details and have a deep understanding of how FAH’s products and offerings add value to a project.
Reporting to our Lead Estimator, as part of the estimating team you will be responsible for building accurate estimates and proposal of our products and custom items. You will be the go-to for any technical product or project queries.
This role will suit someone who wants to ‘own their patch’ and is eager to gain exposure to the global commercial construction industry.
Preference for Joinery, Carpentry or Cabinet Maker experience.
The role will be based in our Sydney office.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare Material Take-Offs and measurements from architectural plans and specifications.
● Prepare product proposals to an outlined scope.
● Ensure Installation and Freight allowances are accurate.
● Ensure estimates are completed to tender deadlines.
● Proactively communicate project status and updates to the relevant internal stakeholders.
● Develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
● Attend Tender interviews and scope of work reviews.
● Accurately hand successful projects over to the operations team.
● Report on pipeline and estimating outputs in scheduled meetings as required.
● Manage CRM records to outlined processes and desired level of quality.
● Assist with ad-hoc sales & operational requests as needed.
