They work on both residential and commercial projects from supply to install; providing a one-stop solution for their clients and each bespoke project.
You will receive full training on the job so you feel supported and have the necessary tools to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching construction documents and analysing specifications
- Preparing estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work
- Preparing estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with suppliers and subcontractors
- Collaborating with the operations team as necessary on projects
- Entry of accepted quotes into system ready for project managers to order
- Assist with preparing tender responses and submissions
- Sending out quote requests to suppliers and contractors
- Manage small projects from receipt through to hand over and completion
- Direct communication with clients, builders, and project managers
- Maintain clear documentation in line with Quality Assured systems and processes
- Manage service orders including site repairs and warranty claims
Skills and Experience
- Excellent Bluebeam skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of estimating
- Well organised and team player
- Experience with providing exceptional customer service
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
- Somebody looking to build a long-term career in their next role
- Knowledge of textiles, furniture or Window Furnishings highly desirable
