The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Admin Assistant/Junior Estimator to join our Cooling Division in Rutherford. This is a full time, permanent role supporting the busy and growing team with quoting, planning, scheduling and customer relationship management.
This position would suit a candidate who is early in their Estimating career and seeking a new growth opportunity, or someone with a background in planning, scheduling, operations support or customer management in a mining, construction or manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Branch Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Estimating, planning and scheduling tasks for assigned accounts or areas.
- Assisting in producing estimates, quotes and proposals for new and existing customers.
- Assisting in generating quotes for parts orders as well as job reports.
- Point of contact for customer queries and requests.
- Liaise with internal and external clients and suppliers on project statuses and project updates.
About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a similar role, or experience in administration
- Previous experience working in mining / manufacturing industry (desirable)
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft products
- Strong customer service skills
- Great data entry skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience using Pronto would be an advantage
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
