The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Visual Communications Manager with the design, production and delivery of visual communications that present and elevate brand quality and credibility. Working collaboratively within the marketing department, this role assists with the creation and implementation of creative campaigns and initiatives to achieve Busways’ vision and business objectives.
Design problem solving is a key part of the role, requiring you to take on new challenges and learn new skills. You will be required to work with our internal departments and build relationships with our external stakeholders such as suppliers and external creatives.
You will play an important role in paving the path for visual mediums throughout the company by producing high quality designs and managing your workload under fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
Working within a small inhouse team of Visual Communicators, you will have opportunities to collaborate and contribute to a broad range of creative projects to help the business meet its goals.
Essential Criteria:
- Completed or currently studying a tertiary qualification in graphic design
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of design fundamentals for both print and digital mediums.
- Ability to interpret client briefs and bring creativity to your work
- Strong computer literacy with using PC
- Passion for design and brand management
- Strong desire to learn and try new things
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisation, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with differing timelines
- Ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances and changes to work priorities
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities to help others
- High standards of personal ethics and integrity
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Current Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State
