THE OPPORTUNITY:
Sitting within a passionate in-house team of creatives the Junior Graphic Designer will ensure excellent visualization and ideation in support of the marketing team. You will be responsible for designing sales and marketing collateral, most specifically brief responses, campaign mockups and event collateral.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- This role involves having a thorough understanding of the design process – taking a concept from ideation to execution.
- You must be able to work efficiently and confidently under pressure within tight deadlines, independently and co-dependently.
- You will visualize concepts using digital mock-ups.
- You will create realistic looking real world objects and blend them into a scene within Photoshop.
- Creation and sourcing of necessary images, including image editing.
- You will shoot, edit and produce stories of advertising assets and campaigns. These will be used internally and externally for marketing purposes.
- You will interpret written or spoken descriptions of technology-integrated creative solutions and align them to briefs creative guidelines.
- You will ensure all work falls in line with JCDecaux Australia’s visual identity, communication is clear and thorough, and all work is completed with high attention to detail.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar tertiary qualification
- Sound working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Photography and Videography skills – DSLR shooting, post-production
- Experience within the media agency or a B2B marketing team
