We're searching for a talented Junior designer to design and build digital media for high-traffic marketing campaigns, including EDMs, landing pages, and newsletters. Our ideal candidate will be a team player and a self-starter who’s able to bring their ideas to life through a solid understanding of the core design principles and basic html/css skills. Attention to detail, great communication, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines are essential along with a "can-do" attitude and a passion for design and problem-solving.
Essential skills:
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, with an advanced focus on Photoshop.
• Basic HTML/CSS coding, preferably using a plain text.
• Creative thinker who can conceptualise, develop, and execute well thought-out ideas in a real-world environment.
• A solid understanding of core design principles such as typography, colour theory, hierarchy, balance, alignment, and contrast.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of multitasking, prioritisation, time management, and meeting deadlines.
• Open, inquisitive, and motivated mindset for learning new skills and technology.
Desirable skills:
• Previous knowledge of email development would be extremely well-regarded.
• Basic knowledge of designing for print, pre-print production file setup and best practice.
• Any other skills such as video/multimedia editing.
• Understanding of how to design and optimize digital artwork for file size/performance.
• Sense of humour and the ability to remain calm under pressure would also be a plus.
