About the role
We are seeking a warm, friendly, and experienced full time Junior IT Officer. This role is responsible for assisting with administration within ICT, including the setup of ICT system logins, swipe cards and other accounts as required. Creation of user guides and other documentation under the direction of other ICT representatives. Some basic support in assisting new employees to log in and setup printers etc. may also be required from time to time.
Pay: $59,367 - $61,148+ Super
Key Performance Indicators
- Monitor ICT Helpdesk for New Starter Requests and process following the Helpdesk SLAs and ICT policies and procedures. This includes creation of user accounts, swipe cards, and other basic administrative tasks. Direction from ICT Officers must be sought for more advanced tasks such as the procurement of ICT equipment.
- Log phone calls made to the Goodwin Helpdesk and assign them to senior staff as required.
- Always maintain the customer service culture and present professionally to all people.
- Assist new employees with the first login and setup of basic ICT resources.
- Assist ICT Officers with the rollout of physical hardware, undertaking upgrades and installations, and maintaining asset lists.
- Create and maintain ICT documentation under the direction of senior ICT staff.
- Create and maintain User Guides under the direction of senior ICT staff.
Selection Criteria
Essential Skills:
- Sound computer skills in using Microsoft based products, including the ability to type at a reasonably quick pace and a reasonable level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of Hardware and Software: A junior ICT officer should have a solid understanding of computer hardware components (such as CPUs, RAM, storage devices, etc.) and software applications (including operating systems and productivity software).
- Valid Driver's licence
- Some previous experience working in a busy environment.
