An exciting role has become available for a Merchandise Planner to join the White Fox family based at our stunning office in Rosebery.

Supporting the Senior Merchandise Planner, you will use your merchandise planning fundamentals to help drive growth within the business using a highly analytical and data driven approach. The successful candidate will be positive, proactive and eager to continue to develop planning processes and ways of working.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Budgets & monthly re-forecasts

• Assist the Senior Merchandise Planner in re-forecasting as required with commentary on identified opportunities/risks and proposed action plans
• Ensure all re-forecasts are supported by all key stakeholders

Analysis and reporting

• Help prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
• Review sales at style and category level identifying opportunities and risks, making recommendations to maximise and mitigate
• Complete monthly post seasonal reviews in line with critical path
• Perform ad hoc reporting as required by the business and across different business units

Range & option planning

• Support the Senior Merchandise Planner to build a balanced option plan to deliver brand strategy, considering the 2 key markets
• Responsible for managing and forecasting core lines based on sales trends

Markdown management

• Help to maintain Clear As You Go Strategy to keep stock efficient
• Help to plan permanent markdowns to achieve Sales & Gross Profit budgets, preparing informed markdowns with visibility on Gross Profit impacts
• Preview markdown with teams, reflect in merch plans and monitor performance closely

Stock management

• Support the Senior Merchandise Planner in ensuring the optimal category mix is maintained in each of the two key markets
• Assist in the quantification of volume, fashion and repeat buys
• Quantify orders and size curves for key events to ensure growth and manage any risk
• Ensure size curve accuracy and update size curves at minimum of quarterly
• Monitor the aged inventory position and keep this within ideal business parameters

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in experience in a Merchandise Planning role
• Experience in Ecommerce is essential
• Experience within a fashion retailer is preferred
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience with Style Arcade is an advantage
• Strong collaboration and teamwork focus
• Aptitude for numbers and an outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
