About the role
We are looking for a Junior Agronomist/Sales Support Officer to join the AIRR team on a permanent, full-time basis. This opportunity would suit a recent graduate or student in their final year of study; part-time/flexible arrangements will be considered for the right applicant.
As a Junior Agronomist/Sales Support Officer, you will be trained to perform a technical and Sales Support role for AIRR. In addition to on-the-job sales agronomy training, you will also support day-to-day customer sales and product forecasting and support. With the backing of the AIRR network, you will be provided with the tools necessary to learn and grow in your career.
Responsibilities
As a key member of the Tactical AGA & AIRR Melbourne team, you will enjoy a varied day including:
- Providing expert Sales Support to the team, allowing AIRR to develop and foster professional relationships
- Providing agronomic and technical support for key AIRR customers & team
- Product forecasting and management
- Providing support in all areas of the sales process
To succeed at AIRR, you:
- Recent graduate or in final year of study in Agriculture or Agronomy
- Able to thrive in a collaborative and results-focussed working environment
- Are smart, resourceful, forward-thinking and embrace technology
- Are passionate about effecting real change for both your clients and your community
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Understand agriculture seasons
- Have the ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future clients
