Junior Network Engineer – Work In The Sound/Audio Industry?

We have a newly created opportunity to join a professional audio-visual company to support some of Australia’s largest networked audio installations. You will Work in a great team and will receive extensive training and support. The office is located in Stanmore and you will be able to Work in a hybrid manner with a few days in the office and a few days at home. You will need a Driver's license you will attend client sites on an ongoing basis. The right person for this role will be a motivated individual who is a team player and will be delivering up to a Level 3 IT Network/ Technical Product Support to all Australian customers. 

Role responsibilities:

Support our nationwide team by;

• Work within a team of audio and networking specialists to provide customers with product and network technical support   
• Providing technical support for a range of hardware and software A/V products 
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot A/V IT networks, software, products and operating systems

Key qualities required are:

• A qualification in IT / Communications including a CCNA or similar
• Commercial experience in a similar roles including TCP/IP routing and switching, VLAN, VoIP, IGMP/Multicast, QoS, ACL, DHCP, DNS, WIRESHARK, firewalls & Network services topologies   
• Advanced troubleshooting skills including using tools such as RDP,  TeamViewer, VPN, Firewalls, Hyper-V, VMware etc.
• Experience in configuring network security devices and policies
• Australian Driver's License
• Good understanding of Audio Visual technologies - preferred  
• Great interpersonal skills – comfortable working with others
• Ability to Work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility in your role
• Desire and willingness to learn new technologies, achieve, and deliver results
