My client is an established chartered firm, ranked amongst the AFR Top 20. They have a great reputation in the market and offer a range of services including Business Services, Business Advisory, Taxation, SMSF, Audit, and Corporate Advisory.
The teams within the firm are dynamic and social, creating a great balance between work and play. They provide a supportive and collaborative environment to work in with a diverse range of clients.
This is a rare opportunity as there is minimal staff turnover at this firm. Reviews are held twice a year and there is no ceiling on your progression if you perform well.
In this role you will report into a highly impressive Partner who takes great pride in developing and mentoring her team. She has been with the business for a long period and worked her way up the ranks.
You will have key responsibilities, including:
- Preparing annual financial statements and tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, SMEs and larger corporations.
- Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Work across and develop relationships with a portfolio of clients
- Reconciling accounts and maintaining clients’ asset registers and journals
- Assisting managers and partners to provide clients with proactive, timely and accurate services
- Participating in networking and firm sponsored events
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 1 year experience working in an Accounting Firm and be looking to commence/have started studying your CA/CPA qualifications.
