Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or commerce, or currently enrolled and about to finish.
- At least one year’s previous experience in a similar role.
- In the process of completing CA/CPA accreditation or looking to start soon.
- Proficient in Excel and Xero.
- A solid understanding of key accounting principles and concepts.
- Excellent time management skills.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for Individual, Company, Trust, Partnership and SMSFs
- Preparation of tax obligations such as BAS/IAS/FBT/TPAR returns on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.
- Assisting in the establishment of new entities and handling ATO registrations
- Tax planning & dealing with key tax issues
- Liaising with clients and Statutory bodies including the ATO and ASIC
- Management accounting tasks bank reconciliation and various payroll services
- Providing support for various office administrative tasks as needed.
